Wheels UP Frederick, Maryland!!!!
This is a “Green” trip, so we hope to generate almost no disposable garbage.
We have been renting bicycles, car racks, baby trailers, roof top cargo carriers, helmets, bags, bike locks and more for years now, but I don’t feel we have done an effective job of sharing the information.
We had a super time at the Frederick, Maryland Bike to Work Day pit stop.
Tour the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) and The C&O Canal Saturday, October 19 – Saturday, October 26, 2019. Two trails, 8 days, 1 ride, 334 miles. $845
Once again we are thrilled to lead an exciting overnight adventure along the C&O! Remember, all you do is ride. We prepare great meals for you and haul your gear.
We had the pleasure of giving this Raleigh a ‘factory reset’ over the past few weeks. Under the dirt, dust, and lots of rust was a beautiful bicycle.
For 2019 we are hosting two Great Allegheny Passage Bicycling Adventures and one trip along the C&O Canal.
Unlocking the magic of memories never gets old, in fact, it is one of the more gratifying aspects of our job.
This ride is crazy. It’s cold. It’s so silly it’s fun! Join us at TBE on Sat. February 2 for a 9 am Groundhog Day Fun Ride.
It was another great year for our TBE Cranksgiving scavenger hunt!
As always, we had a fantastic time at our Spooky Spokes ride year.
Did you hear about our camping trip last weekend on The Great Allegheny Passage? We had so much fun riding with new and old friends! Don’t worry if you missed out on the fun, we have another great adventure in the fall!
Many years ago the first production mountain bike became available to the masses, the Specialized Stumpjumper.
On Saturday, June 30, 2018 – Tuesday, July 3, 2018 The Bicycle Escape will be leading a touring adventure on the Great Allegheny Passage.
We have some upcoming FREE bike repair and maintenance clinics!
The Bicycle Escape planned to host another guided C&O Canal trip September 28-30, 2018. Due to poor conditions this trip will be UPGRADED to the GAP at the SAME $285 price.
Do you have a youth (grades 6-12) in your life who likes mountain biking or who might like to learn? Great! Bring them to The Bicycle Escape on February 27 at 6:30pm.
