The Vans Warped Tour Rock Gardens & Rock Stars trail work day was a great success. On July 12 artists and crew members from the 2016 Vans Warped Tour took a break from the music to help the community. With so many hands on deck, a lot of work was completed. One of the volunteer efforts was to help improve the Emmitsburg multi-user trail system. Briars were cut back and erosion controls put into place. One specific project was armoring a section of the yellow trail.
Special thanks to The Journey Through Hallowed Ground for setting up the event and Mid Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts – MORE for the tools and expertise. Huge thanks to the true rock star Commissioner O’Donnell for the years of dedication to making the trails a reality and his tireless efforts to keep them maintained!
The not so good pictures I took, the good pictures and video are from our friends at Iron Elephant Studio, check them out!
