The Bicycle Escape planned to host another guided C&O Canal trip September 28-30, 2018. Due to poor conditions this trip will be UPGRADED to the GAP at the SAME $285 price.
What a great adventure! Our C&O Canal 3 day / 2 night camping trip was amazing! The weather, food, and company couldn’t have been better!
The Bicycle Escape will be hosting ANOTHER guided C&O Canal trip this fall!
The 2017 C&O Canal Excellent Adventure will take place September 29th – October 1st, 2017. This is a 3-day, two night, hassle free, ride-at-your-own-pace adventure.
For those of you who don’t know, this past weekend we enjoyed a riding and camping adventure on the C&O canal.

This was a fun project. Lots of chrome polishing and cleaning. The real fun was re-routing the generator wires internally for a much cleaner look.
This is an accomplishment worth celebrating! One can now walk, run, cycle, skate, skip or jump from The Frederick Fairgrounds, along Carroll Creek Linear Part, through Frederick’s beautiful Baker Park
This year’s Tour de Frederick was another huge success for cyclists and spectators alike. With the National Clustered Spires High Wheel race, The Tour made for a great weekend.

We did an amazing job! In just a few short weeks The Bicycle Escape, Cool Kids Campaign collected $2025 (so far) for children with cancer.
It was hot yesterday, REALLY HOT! In spite of the heat, about 800 riders signed up once again for the popular Firefighter 50 bicycle ride.
We had the pleasure of bringing a young lady’s childhood dream to life. She always wanted an old Schwinn cruiser and while trolling the antique shops she found the bike she could not live without.
Once again it’s time for the Annual Groundhog Day Fun Ride
Ten great years have come and gone and we are more than thankful to continue our journey of serving the community by “peddling bicycles.”

We once again volunteered our mechanical services for the Gran Fondo National Championship here in Frederick.
We are once again super honored to have been designated as one of the best shops in the country.
April 6, 2014 9:00am-2:00pm We will be set up near the Tea Room off Gambrill Park Road in Pavilion #2. There will be lots of mountain bikes there begging to get dirty.
This was a mini restoration we completed on a Western Flyer. We are most proud of the work we did on the non-functioning light.
